Just after dawn with a storm coming in. Pretty great sight to wake up to.

If you're tired of London

Feeling the Olympic fever at St Pancras station.

The romance of St Pancras. 

Yes, I wanted to go to the Champagne Bar and then head straight to Paris.

The afternoon light: stunning.

Straight to the South Bank to catch the last day of Poetry Parnassus (part of the Cultural Olympiad) at the Royal Festival Hall. 

Felt so great to be back amongst the vibrancy (albeit mostly overcast).

The South Bank feeling very festive and ready for the oncoming throngs. 

I'm mixing my timelines up here but spent another night on the balcony 

of the Festival Hall catching up with folks 

and London shimmered in the haze on the way home!
