Sunday in the City

The Met.
At pace.

Staten Island ferry and our lady of Liberty.

Here's to you New York, New York

Saturday: brunch at Cafe Gitane, Nolita.

I love it when the day starts with rose champagne and chorizo baked eggs.
And then you go shopping.
Utterly amazing. I love your food, your mood and your style New York.

HAPPY PLACE: defined.

Central Park.
Just a few weeks too early for colour. But beautiful all the same.
And good for a quiet little nap as it turns out.

Hans Christian Anderson tells a good bedtime story.

Home to the gorgeous Bryant Park Hotel.

So Fashion District.

The big Gothic building in all its amazeballs glory -
that's where the blondes laid down their retail-wearied locks.

It doesn't sleep.

An empire state of mind

An affair to remember.
We didn't meet anyone at the top but it was pretty magic.

One word: Iconic.

Oh and the Bahamas

Yeah, it's alright if you like clear turquoise seas and gloriousness.

La Bahamas-style.

Havana finale

The Tropicana girls.
Must have been amazing here in the 50s and 60s.

Currently my favourite photo (below).
A fluke to have seen this votive sitting on a doorstop in the middle of Old Havana.

Sunset light was pretty great.

Some street scenes and whatnot.

The guy and the dog - very strange.
They acted out little vignettes like this 'security dog' thing.
And no I didn't give them money.

Love a good cemetery.

Final night dinner at this incredible place.
Crumbling staircase to climb to get there
but magical spot when you got there and amazing food.

So long Cuba.
