A merry Space christmas

Home sweet new home

Well it's not completely unpacked and gorgeous just yet but the kitchen sure is fabulous.

This time I have the sunrise views, looking towards South Beach across Biscayne Bay.

A Sunday in the park.

Images

The Second City.

Marilyn in Chicago. This was a surprise.

Rick Bayless, can I be your wife?
The best (BEST!) thing I have ever eaten.
From Rick's xoco Mexican street food restaurant.
I waited 40 mins for it. I would wait all day for that again.
Can't tell you how delicious. Can't.
Seriously, who is he married to? I want to be Mrs Bayless.

The Arts Institute.

Ok. So the architecture is sublime and the food exquisite.
Then you bring me the Arts Institute.
Heaven is Chicago.

I can't tell you how amazing this is in real life.
Character etched in stone.

To see a classic, face to face. Pretty great.

This guy is part of a larger painting with a huge cultural meaning.
The detail, amazing.
Symbolism? Yes, I would like some.

For the deeply morbid side of me,
the side that endlessly wrote "oblivion" in my notebooks, I adore this.
The hand of death.

Counterpointed with this.

Which, in turn, is counterpointed with this.

And then this lady.

From the top of the Hancock Building.
