Oh and the Bahamas

Yeah, it's alright if you like clear turquoise seas and gloriousness.

La Bahamas-style.

Havana finale

The Tropicana girls.
Must have been amazing here in the 50s and 60s.

Currently my favourite photo (below).
A fluke to have seen this votive sitting on a doorstop in the middle of Old Havana.

Sunset light was pretty great.

Some street scenes and whatnot.

The guy and the dog - very strange.
They acted out little vignettes like this 'security dog' thing.
And no I didn't give them money.

Love a good cemetery.

Final night dinner at this incredible place.
Crumbling staircase to climb to get there
but magical spot when you got there and amazing food.

So long Cuba.

Havana 3

Yes, Havana continues.

The Capitol and the Gran Teatro - easily my favourite building.

Parc Centrale.

The Havana Harri

Hanging out in another of Hemingway's gaffs.

Off the beaten

A little excursion.
First stop Santa Clara where Che is buried.

Next stop Torres mountains for some hot trekkin' action.

Natural lake action - so so beautiful.

A little Cuba Libre

We took a little trip in to the centre of Cuba.
This is Trinidad (no Tabago - or tabasco for that matter), one of the oldest and best preserved colonial towns. Full of colour.

Love this guy. And maybe, just maybe, I'll post the version with me and the rooster.
Oh yes, that happened.

Probably the picture of the trip, if you will.

Woodland and our guide Danis.

A cheeky Canchanchara cocktail (local goodtime) - rum, lemon and honey.
Dad was mad for it.
Couldn't stop him.
