Havana - through a lens

Happy Havana Woodland Creature.
Our first night, after a lot of walking in crazy heat and in crazier streets, it was time for a beer by the pool.
Mojito score: 1/10.

The cathedral at dusk. Prettiness.

City at sunset, from our hotel in fact.
Dark clouds lent a lot of mood and anticipation.

"Until victory, always."
Come on down Che.
They were right - he sure did bring the sex appeal to the revolution.
Smokin' hot beret insurgency.

Have always wanted to see this.

As you can imagine, there's an entire T series of 'Havana cars' with a special emphasis on numberplates and details.
More on that later.

Of course if you're in Havana you're going to come across Hemingway.
Floridita's - his daiquiri gaff.
Compulsory you understand.

And that would be mine. Shaken, not frozen.
In fairness, bloody delicious.
A well-thumbed daiquiri Deano.

I really should have got a pic with Dad and this - The Old Man and the Daiquiri.

The Capitolio all lit up.
Shame the thing was closed for renovation. Gah.
